CCMS eighth grade science students explored the reproductive properties of flowers during a recent lesson in Ms. James' class. Students dissected the flowers with scissors and their hands so they could identify all parts of the flower āœ‚ļøšŸŒ¼. Students were investigating reproduction, heredity, and growth of organisms 🌱🧬.
Thank you to Maribeth's Flowers and Boutique for donating the flowers for our students to dissect and find the reproductive parts. šŸ™šŸ’
Students then used Google Drawings to diagram their flowers and their reproductive parts šŸ’»āœļø and will be putting these diagrams into their Panther Path portfolio!
