You are invited to take part in an important conversation about the future of Carroll County. The Northern Kentucky Area Development District (NKADD) will host a series of community forums throughout their eight-county region designed to gather input from local leaders and citizens on key priorities, challenges, and opportunities related to economic and community development.
The Carroll County forum will be on Thursday, Dec. 11 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the JCTC Carrollton Campus. It is held in collaboration with the Carroll County Community Development Corporation. It is free, but organizers request you register in advance.

Kathryn Winn Primary's first grade classes held their own version of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade today! š¦š The students paraded through the halls for Head Start and Winn students and families who lined the hallways to cheer them on .šš
The little ones marched with balloons in hand, šbanners proudly displayed šŖ§ and several dressed up for the holiday season šš§£.

The Carroll County High School athletic department was presented with a check for $375.98 recently! š°CCHS Principal Crystal Harris accepted the check from Carrollton McDonald's owner Grant Groen. šš¤
The local restaurant hosted a High School Sports Digital Fundraiser in October and donated 10% of all digital sales made through the McDonald's App to the CCHS athletic department. š±šš¤

Facility Plan.
The District Facility Plan is a four-year planning document that outlines facility construction,
renovation, and capital improvement priorities for Carroll County Schools.The hearing is open to the public. Comments from the community are welcome and will be recorded and forwarded to the Kentucky Department of Education as part of the official record.
A copy of the proposed District Facility Plan is available for public inspection at the Carroll
County Board of Education Office during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. It can also be accessed at this link.

š Congratulations to the Carroll County High School Band of Gold! š
They were awarded the prestigious National Wind Band Honors Mark of Excellence by the Foundation for Music Education! š¶šŗ Band Director Eric Allen compiled recordings of the band and submitted them for the award. š¼ The judges reviewed submissions based on classes determined by school size. š« National and state winners were selected for each class, and the CCHS Band won for the state of Kentucky! šš
The band learned about the exciting news earlier this fall, but just received their official banner! 𤩠The unveiling occurred last night following their spectacular fall concert. š "This achievement tells me they are meeting standards at a national level," Allen said. "They were competing with schools all over the country." š š

We are pleased to announce the members of the 2026-2027 Calendar Committee. This group will discuss and create the school calendar for next year.
