Weāre looking for volunteers to:
š§ Hand out water bottles
š Pass out medals and ribbons
ā”ļø Help guide runners along the course
š Races start at 9 a.m. (5 total, finishing around 12:30 p.m.)
š Senior athletes will also be recognized that morning
šāāļø 12 teams are scheduled to compete!

Dual Credit Students -- It is time to set preferences for your KHEAA Dual Credit Scholarships!!!
Juniors and Seniors are eligible for TWO (2) Regular Dual Credit Scholarships this year*, each year (grades 11 and 12). These may only be used for General Education dual credit courses.
Students in Grades 9-12 are eligible for TWO (2) Work Ready Dual Credit Scholarships, each year (grades 9-12). These may only be used for Career & Technical Education dual credit courses.
Scholarships are not automatic -- You must register and/or sign in to your MyKHEAA Account, select the appropriate scholarship (Regular Dual Credit and/or Work Ready), and set your preferences for when you would like to use each scholarship. This needs to be completed BEFORE FALL BREAK. If you have received this email, it appears you have not set your scholarship preferences.
Before setting your preferences, please speak with Ms. Weedman, Mrs. Raisor, or Mr. Rose (ATC) to review your dual credit courses and talk through how to make the best use of the scholarships available to you. You may email, call, or drop by -- BUT, this must be taken care of this week (prior to fall break). Several Project-Based Learning students have worked on clearing a pathway and building a route for a new Cross Country track on the CCHS campus. The students cut grass, brush and small trees. Dan Stewart Farms donated his time and equipment to haul aggregate lime from NAS, which offered it for free. The material was used to build a new path for the Cross Country team, all in less than three days. (More photos on the District Facebook page.)

āļø All students who show their school ID at the gate get into all CCHS home games FREE! š
Any student who does not show an ID must pay to get into the game.
āļø Students from other schools will be asked for a student ID or driverās license to confirm grade level. Out-of-district students still pay regular admission.

A small but spirited crowd gathered last night for the annual CCHS homecoming parade in Carrollton. Teams and some of the king and queen candidates waved to onlookers as they made their way from the middle school to the high school. š¤šThe CCHS Band of Gold was on hand to play some of the tunes they'll perform during tonight's game.š¶

Patrick Parker and Nolyn Glacken were recognized by the Carroll County Board of Education tonight for earning a spot in the Bassmaster High School National Championship. Congratulations to these Panthers!
